Studio

Interior walls. That is the whole brief.

Atrium Walls designs and paints large-scale murals for rooms that already have a job: dining, sleeping, waiting, washing, reading. We work on plaster, not canvas, and we do not take exterior commissions.

Close work on botanical pigment over plaster

Practice

A studio, not a print shop.

The rooms on this site are invented commissions, written the way a real studio would talk about its work. The point is the site: how a mural practice presents rooms, process, and an inquiry — not a biography of a living painter.

We specify mineral paints and lime plaster with the general contractor. Close looking should show bristle and glaze, not a vinyl wrap. If a wall cannot take the paint, we say so before a cartoon goes up.

What we take

Interiors only

  • Dining rooms, living rooms, and studies
  • Nurseries and quiet bedrooms
  • Hospitality lobbies, spas, and private clubs
  • Libraries and offices that need a horizon

What we refuse

Not a mural mill

  • Building exteriors and weather-facing walls
  • Wallpaper installation and vinyl murals
  • Same-week “accent wall” jobs without drawings
  • Work that has to photograph well once and then peel
“The mural has to be a good neighbor to the furniture, the light, and the people who walk past it every morning.”
